Are moms doomed to fail?
This is a question I honestly ask myself almost every week.
When it seems like our days revolve around nap times and diaper changes versus professional and personal development, it reminds me of this quote by Annie Oakley:
Can women be both people and mothers?
Can mothers be people?
– Annie Oakley
As a mother of a toddler, I regularly watch friends get together for wine… network at entrepreneurship events… support one another’s businesses through social development, or take naps on freakin’ Sundays.
And it makes me wonder…
Does motherhood inherently rob women of being… women?
When I developed the Moms Wear Capes program, this is the question that I brought in front of 30 brilliant entrepreneurs, life coaches, doctors, therapists, and bestselling authors.
I’ve come up with my answer.
… But I’m really curious – what do you think?
Do you think mothers have it all that bad?
