Time and time again, I encounter the same self-limiting opposition to starting a home-based business.
“I’m not an expert.”
Quintessentially, almost nobody who cooks, trains, teaches, coaches, instructs, or sells information in any way is an expert.
All you need to do is to be 1 or 2 steps ahead of a few thousand (or a few hundred thousand) people to have something people will pay you for.
One of the most inspiring examples of this is on social media.
Gary Vaynerchuk in his book “Crushing It” details the journeys of dozens of men and women who started everything from sewing blogs to dog-training companies who took information that impassioned them and turned it into the business and life of their dreams…
… And they made great money doing it.
Women are much more likely to AVOID starting home-based businesses because they want to “qualify” for the job they’re charging for.
In fact, Carol Dweck, author of Mindset, states that men will apply for a job when only meeting 60% of the qualifications for the role, whereas women will apply only when meeting 100%.
Are you holding yourself back from the life, love, or business from your dreams because you have the self-limiting belief that you have to be an “expert”?
Watch the inspirational videos from Moms Wear Capes Academy expert Corina Frankie about how she started a business that grosses over half a million dollars a year by taking her genius and courageously selling it to people thirsty to bring their lives and businesses to the next level.
